I was commissioned to paint their new storefront on Queen Street West. Inspired by the colourful pedestrians in the Queen West shopping district, black-and-white comics, and the Silver Snail itself, I created a two-part design.
The ground floor entry shows a cast of fantastical characters walking around while reading comics. Several characters reappear in the interior signage.
The upper storey design is an assortment of collectibles associated with comic stores and the Silver Snail's mascot.
